We are working with a global business who are wanting to expand their team and bring in a Multi-Modal Pricing Specialist with experience in Air, Sea and Road freight.
The Pricing Specialist role is directly involved with all exported goods, the main responsibility for this role is to arrange and manage the transportation cycle by air, ocean and road to ensure all necessary paperwork is complete and legally acceptable to customs to allow clearance and export into the country of destination.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Booking shipments with airlines, ocean carries and NVOCC’s. Whilst this role is heavily weighted to Ocean exports, you will also be required to handle air freight exports.
- Create and issue quotations to prospects, customers and overseas offices in line with the operational SOP.
- Ensure all quotations are followed up and actioned accordingly
- Arrange collections with external parties
- Booking of shipments into Cargo Wise
- Dealing with overseas offices
- Prepare, control and distribute all required documentation to counterparts complying with regulations and internal procedures.
- Maintain excellent relationships with internal and external customers
