GSL Education are currently seeking a number of highly motivated and dedicated Qualified Teachers with expertise in Religious Education (RE) to join our client schools in Slough. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students and contribute to their spiritual and moral development.
As a QTS RE Teacher, your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering high-quality RE lessons in accordance with the national curriculum.
- Fostering an inclusive and respectful classroom environment that encourages open discussion and celebrates diversity.
- Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback to support their learning journey.
- Promoting students' spiritual, moral, social, and cultural development through thought-provoking lessons and activities.
- Collaborating with colleagues to share resources and best practices, and contributing to the development of the RE curriculum.
To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications and attributes:
- QTS, RE specialization will be preferable ( please do not apply if you don't have QTS)
- Proven experience teaching RE at the secondary level.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for promoting religious literacy and understanding.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with students and colleagues.
- Commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
- Dedication to professional growth and staying up-to-date with developments in RE education.
