Repair Assessor

Slough

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically adept Repair Assessor to join our clients team. This role involves assessing damaged products, generating technical reports, and providing cost estimates to support their commitment to outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities of the Repair Assessor:

  • Damage Assessment: Evaluate returned products for repair or replacement based on pre-defined damage classifications.
  • Technical Reporting: Create detailed technical reports for customers using digital tools and databases.
  • Customer Interaction: Communicate with customers regarding technical issues, both verbally and in writing.
  • Minor Repairs: Perform minor instrument repairs when required.
  • Stock and Administrative Tasks: Assist with stock room operations, participate in physical stock counts, and undertake other administrative duties.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Service Manager and Technical Services team to deliver exceptional after-sales support.

Experience of the Repair Assessor:

  • Previous experience in a service or repair role.
  • Strong communication skills, including written, verbal, and listening abilities.
  • Solid numeracy skills and attention to detail.
  • A proactive and self-motivated approach to tasks.
