HYBRID POSITION - 2 DAYS IN OFFICE - SALES & CUSTOMER SERVICE ADMINISTRATOR
  • Job Type: 1 YEAR FIXED TERM CONTRACT (Maternity Cover)

  • Salary: £25,000 - £30,000

We are seeking a dedicated Sales & Customer Service Administrator to join our Sales Administration division. This role is integral to assisting with our strategic sales and operational goals, ensuring alignment with our corporate strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in administrative support within a sales environment, be adept at processing sales orders, and possess excellent customer service skills.

Day to Day of the role:
  • Process sales orders, liaising with suppliers and logistics to ensure a high level of service that adds value.
  • Advise customers on shipment and item ETAs, and provide open order lists as required.
  • Supply customers with price lists, item specifications, and compliance documents.
  • Resolve queries and complaints from UK and European distributors, including discrepancies with shipments or invoices.
  • Handle public queries and complaints efficiently via phone, email, and post, providing technical advice when necessary.
  • Maintain an up-to-date Customer complaint summary to monitor potential issues and inform senior management.
  • Support the team during audits with document retrieval.
  • Maintain effective communication throughout the company.
  • Provide support across the department, such as B2B sales support, to cover for holidays and sickness.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Previous administrative and customer service experience within a busy sales environment.
  • Proficient in data entry and familiar with various systems.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.
  • Accurate typing skills and the ability to manage deadlines.
  • Good command of the English language, both written and spoken.
  • Excellent team player with a strong drive for accuracy.
  • Self-motivated with a flexible, helpful attitude and the ability to work unsupervised.
