A Freight Warehouse Operative is needed for permanent positions in the Colnbrook area with a growing freight forwarder.
The role involves conducting security checks, X-raying parcels, pallet screening, loading and unloading vehicles, and processing imports and exports.
Candidates must have cargo operative screening certification, be PC literate, detail-oriented, and have a valid forklift license.
A minimum of 5 years of checkable work history and freight or cargo experience is required.
Working hours are Monday to Friday from 2pm to 11pm, totaling 42.5 hours per week, with a competitive salary offered.

Duties would include:

Conducting security checks for prohibited items of cargo to be transported
X-raying parcels ready for export
Pallet screening
Loading & unloading vehicles
Processing imports and exports within the warehouse
Forklift truck driving
Working towards tight deadlines

Skills required:

Cargo operative screening- COS
Pc literate
Attention to detail
Valid forklift trained
5 year checkable history
Freight/ cargo experience

Working hours:

Monday- Friday 2pm - 11pm with 30-minute break, 42.5 hour working week.
