About our clientOur client specialises in the fire and security industry and has been trading is 1981. Due to company growth, our client is seeking a fire alarm service engineer to join their team. Fire Alarm Engineer Package:

  • Up to £43,000 base salary plus overtime
  • Nest pension
  • Regular hours - 40hrs - Monday-Friday.
  • Company van with personal use
  • Overtime available.
  • Call out - £150 stand-by per week.
  • 22 days holiday + bank holiday + birthday off

What will the Fire Alarm Engineer be doing daily:

  • The Fire and Security Engineer will service and maintain Fire alarms, Access Control, Intruder alarms, Nurse calls, Door Entry, CCTV, etc.
  • The Fire Alarm Engineer will perform small works on the above systems.
  • The Fire Alarm Engineer will be reporting to the engineering manager
  • The Fire Alarm Engineer Engineer will complete all paperwork accurately and on time.
  • Take responsibility for your workload, stock and vehicle.

Knowledge and experience as a Fire Alarm Engineer

  • Ideally, 2+ years working with the Fire and Security industry.
  • Knowledge of British Standards and Health and Safety.
  • Commission fire systems would be advantageous
  • Full UK Driving License.
  • CSCS or ECS card.
  • Manufacturer training is desirable, not essential.
  • Level 3 qualification desirable.
