Full-Time SEND Teaching Assistant Wanted in Datchet!
We are searching for a full-time SEND Teaching Assistant who has experience working with children, young people, or adults with special educational needs, or in care settings.
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Have at least one year of SEND support experience in a school, childcare, or care setting.
- Be a dedicated and motivated educator.
- Support children with emotional and behavioural difficulties to access the curriculum effectively.
- Demonstrate high levels of care and ambition for our students.
- Possess relevant skills to serve a diverse student community, including learners with ASC and SEMH.
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to SEN students and deliver engaging activities.
- Assess, evaluate, and report on pupil progress.
Requirements:
- Energetic and patient with strong classroom management skills.
- Available to work 08:30 to 16:00, Monday to Friday.
- Recent experience with children in a school or similar environment is preferred; general experience with children in the UK is essential.
- Enjoy working with children and witnessing their progress.
- Have or be willing to apply for a Child Only enhanced DBS.
- Live in Datchet or within a commutable distance.
