About the Role
As a Year 6 Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils' learning and development as they prepare for their SATs. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing targeted support to pupils, including small group interventions and one-to-one assistance.
- Collaborating with the class teacher to deliver the Key Stage 2 (KS2) curriculum effectively.
- Helping pupils develop confidence and achieve their potential in all areas of learning.
- Supporting the preparation and delivery of high-quality SATs revision and practice sessions.
- Contributing to the positive and inclusive ethos of the school.
About You
We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant with:
- A strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum, particularly Year 6.
- Experience in supporting pupils to achieve great SATs results.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive and supportive attitude to working with children and staff.
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant (desirable).
