The Role - Teaching Assistant

As a Teaching Assistant you will be working in a Mainstream School asssiting pupils that are needing extra support with their classroom. You will be working alongside the class teacher to organise the class, assist with resources, and sometimes observe a class when the teacher is absent. Some pupils may have SEN needs so you must be comfortable working with SEN needs such as Autism

The School - Mainstream Secondary School

The school is a'Good' Mixed Mainstream Secondary School with pupils agedbetween 11-19 years old. The school is part of an Academy. There are 1200pupils that attend the school. The school hours are 8.30-3.30, there is parking on site and local transport links
