Job Title: KS2 Teaching Assistants

Immediate Start

Location: Burnham

Hours: Full or Part Time (8:30 – 15:30)

Start: ASAP

Salary: £80 - 100 per day

We are currently working with a wonderful school in Marlow to recruit three KS2 Teaching Assistants to join their team. The successful Teaching Assistants will receive excellent training and development opportunities from the Senior Leadership Team.

• Supporting KS2 students in their learning, both inside and outside of the classroom

• Working with small groups to facilitate engaging and interactive learning activities

• Providing 1:1 support to individual pupils based on their specific needs

• Assisting the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom management

• Taking students outside of the classroom for practical and interactive learning experiences

• Supporting students with special educational needs, such as Autism, ADHD, or physical disabilities

• Encouraging the development of social and emotional skills in KS2 pupils

• Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment

• Prior experience working with KS2 children, preferably in a school setting

• A good understanding of the KS2 curriculum and the ability to support students in key subjects

• Knowledge of special educational needs or a strong desire to learn and develop in this area

• The ability to manage challenging behaviour in a positive and constructive manner

• A commitment to working fixed days, either full or part-time

• A clear and valid DBS check registered on the update service, or the willingness to obtain one
