Job Title: Underwriting Specialist
Location: Slough
Salary: £32,000 - £35,000
Do you have Underwriter or Credit Analyst experience? Are you looking for an opportunity to utilise your underwriting knowledge? We are proud to be working with this well-renowned finance company who are looking for an Underwriting Specialist to work in their friendly, professional offices in Slough.
The successful candidate will have experience of working for a finance company, in either underwriting or as a credit analyst. The major purpose of the Underwriter is to assess the company’s financial risk associated with extending customer credit and financing.
You will assess this risk by manually underwriting proposals in accordance with guidelines and underwriting policies and ensure the quality of your underwriting decisions matches company and statutory measures.
You will analyse the customer’s financial statements in order to assist in reaching a timely and accurate conclusion on the referral.
You will use a proactive approach to work-management and service level adherence.
