We are working with a medium sized freight forwarder, who are looking to recruit an Airfreight Export Clerk with a Dangerous Goods Certificate and trained.

Role involves:

· Liaising with overseas branches and internal customers.· Dealing with internal and external customers on a day-to-day basis.· Liaise with all new and regular customers on all queries and issues through regular contact by telephone.· Take all incoming calls and emails from customers for new bookings using appropriate documentation.· Ensure all special requirements or instructions are clearly specified.· Ensuring accurate accruals and cost accuracy.· Accuracy and timelines of documentation (HAWB/MAWB/DUCR/MUCR) processing meets KPI requirements.· Review all customer booking instructions ensuring these are understood and followed.· Ensure full understanding and strict compliance to customs processes and procedures.· Accurate and timely management of all mandatory date.· Understanding of the airfreight product including Incoterms.· Responding to customer booking and overseas agents’ requests.· Entering HM Customs entry procedures.· Raising sales invoices accurately within agreed KPI timescales.· Developing effective relationships and negotiating with carriers and overseas agents.· Completing of quotes.· Supporting on month end finance.
