We have an exciting opportunity for an Air Import Coordinator to work 4 on 4 off days, with a medium/large freight forwarder near Heathrow.
Shift 4 on 4 off days 7am-7pm.
Role involves:
路 Communication with customers is paramount and keeping them updated along the way - via email and phone.路 Execute the shipments at the agreed cost and report any deviations.路 Communicate with origin office to set up shipment and monitor them.路 Provide quotes.路 Custom Clearance.路 Bill VAT/Duty.路 Add all costs to the files.路 Update milestones in BT as per department requirements.路 Billing, on time and accurately.路 POD鈥檚- ensure that all files have POD鈥檚 before closing files.路 Dealing with invoice queries.路 Cross Training as required.
Experience:
路 3 years + experience within an Air Import department.路 Proactive.路 To be able to work alone and as part of a team and demonstrate initiative.路 Ability to work under pressure.路 Flexible attitude.
Salary depends on experience
