We are partnered with a global logistics business who are looking to bring in an Import Freight Operations Executive to their team, who will be responsible for the management of the transport cycle by Air, Sea and Road freight where necessary, ensuring all paperwork is complete and legal.

Responsibilities

  • Obtain charges and cargo release details from agents, airlines and shipping lines.
  • Submit custom clearances using CargoWise
  • Responsible for ensuring any payments due are made in advance of any shipment as required
  • you will process all payments and raise necessary paperwork for accounting purposes in line with company requirements.
  • arrange the release and transportation of goods received to cargo importers.
  • Liase daily with agents, partners, suppliers and clients to ensure the smooth and efficient discharge of their duties.
  • You will be expected to negotiate terms and rates, so it is important you have previous experience within this area.

This is an office based position, 5 days in office - Monday-Friday / 9:00am to 5:30pm
