The Materials Controller is responsible for the availability of materials for production, in line with the schedule of work.
Duties include:
- Managing Stock for Production
- Liaising with the Stores Controller, Production Coordinator and Supply Chain Manager to plan and manage the schedule
- Managing stock location transfers in ERP/MRP system.
- Arranging national and international shipments to sub-contractors and generating shipping paperwork.
- Working with the Stores Controller to maintain accurately recorded stock levels.
- Requesting stock reports from subcontractors and updating stock levels in the ERP/MRP system.
- Monitoring order acknowledgements from suppliers and updating PO delivery dates in the ERP/MRP system.
- Maintaining accurate due dates in the ERP/MRP system for Works Orders, Purchase Orders
