Talent-UK are recruiting on behalf of their client, a highly regarded law firm in Slough for a legal administrator/receptionist to join their professional team, the role is a full time permanent position.We are looking for a skilled, ambitious candidate who is motivated, committed and a flexible individualThis role is to provide crucial legal and administrative support to the solicitors within the team, managing files, drafting documents, handling client correspondences, managing diaries, other administrative duties and contributing to business development.This role offers an opportunity to liaise with clients’, building professional relationships and delivering exceptional service working in a recently constructed, modern and luxurious office. This opportunity will allow you to build transferable skills and we encourage personal development.Some responsibilities of the role :- Meeting and greeting visitors, answering calls and taking messages-Setting up meeting rooms for consultation / online hearing / interviews and making refreshments occasionally- Booking appointments for solicitors and legal team- Managing incoming/outgoing post, arranging couriers, delivering post to post office- Typing documents, filing, scanning, photocopying files and preparing legal bundles.- Opening files, updating and maintaining database, ensuring accurate information at all times- Assisting with preparing and collating court documents for solicitorsDesirable skills:- Smart and professionally presented- Experience with administration and customer service- Strong verbal and written communication skills- Team player willing to work co-operatively with others and independently- Strong attention to detail- Excellent organisational and time management skills- Good knowledge of Microsoft office software.- Trustworthy and reliable individual, with a strong work ethic.- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and use initiate to problem solve & willing to go the extra mile!- An individual who is enthusiastic with a drive for successImportant criteria:- Organises own work effectively and work methodically- Seeks and is receptive to feedback and guidance- Works flexibly to meet goals- Competently follows agreed processes / methods- Good team working skills- Excellent communication skills- Demonstrates understanding of client needs / expectationsAll successful candidates will be subject to standard pre-employment screening.
