The Role:
So, what will you be doing as a Commercial Officer?
- Lead the commercial input for tenders, preparing proposals, and supporting negotiations.
- Prepare and evaluate responses to customer enquiries and Invitations to Tender.
- Act as the primary commercial contact within the FASW segment, providing expert guidance on commercial and legal queries.
- Collaborate within cross-functional teams to manage commercial aspects of programme delivery.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders at all levels.
- Support commercial administration activities across the UK line of business.
- Assist the Trade Controls Manager in ensuring trade control documentation is in place for bids.
What are we looking for in our next Commercial Officer?
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, or a related field.
- Previous commercial experience is advantageous.
- Strong team player with experience working in cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages.
- A proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
