We are seeking an experienced IMPORT MANAGER to join a freight forwarder near Heathrow.
The role involves overseeing a team of 3 staff and managing daily activities including customs entries and inventory control.
Candidates must have team management experience and knowledge of CDS, along with familiarity with various import types.
The position offers a salary of £40,000 to £50,000 per year.
Applicants should have at least 3 years of relevant experience in the field.

We are recruiting for an experienced and hands on IMPORT MANAGER to join a specialist freight forwarder based locally to the Heathrow area.

Overseeing a team of 3 staff, daily duties willinclude:

Organising day to day activities
Air and seafreight customs entries
Creating and managing ERTS compliance records
Inventory control
Liaising with relevant parties including border force, airlines and airport handlers
Ensure quality control procedures are in place
Duty & VAT reclaims

Experience needed:

Team management experience
Knowledge of CDS is essential
Knowledge of different types of imports including bonded, IPR and TIB
Excellent communication

Working hours:

Monday - friday 0900am - 1730pm
