Our Transport Manager has been promoted so could you be the new Roy? Supporting the Depot Operations Manager with the day-to-day running of waste collection services at our Colnbrook depot, near Heathrow is a demanding job and you’ll be a visible presence. If you’re not being stretched in your current role then this could be the step up you’re ready for.

What you’ll be doing as Transport Manager Colnbrook services businesses around the London area and as Transport Manager you will hit the ground running, connecting with the transport team and customers and quickly establishing yourself. You’ll help to supervise an experienced transport office team and around 70 drivers, making every effort to ensure that customers receive their waste collection service when they expect it.What you’ll needAt least two years’ supervisory or managerial experience, preferably in the waste industry. Your customer-focused approach, organisational skills and the ability to build good working relationships go without saying.We expect our Transport Manager to be a confident communicator and motivator, with sound computer and cost-control skills. 

The ‘musts’ are a Transport Manager Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) and full clean UK driving licence, ideally with LGV Class 2 (cat C) entitlement.
