A dynamic, well-known organisation in the sports industry is looking for a high calibre candidate to head up their Warehouse Operations.
In this role you will have 6 direct reports and be responsible for fostering a high-performance culture. You will also take the lead in the integration of warehouse management systems (WMS) and a second warehouse facility to enhance operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate will have management experience and expertise in computerised stock management, distribution and shipping systems.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate stock control for goods in and out, achieving 98%+ order accuracy
- Oversee the transition and integration of WMS across two warehouses, ensuring seamless data flow and process alignment
- Manage, appraise, and develop a team of 5-6 direct reports
- Negotiate with couriers to secure cost-effective distribution solutions
- Communicate with all internal/external suppliers and customers to ensure smooth running of orders
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs and improve turnaround times
Key Requirements
- Proven experience in logistics and warehouse management
- Experience of computerised stock management, distribution and shipping systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and develop staff
- A team player and able to work under pressure
- Ability to plan and organise effectively to meet deadlines
