Mobile Heavy Plant Fitter

Slough - Mobile role

Pay: Up to £42,000 per annum

Monday - Friday: 10 hour shifts

PERMANENT ROLE

At Gi Pro we have an excellent opportunity to join our market-leading client for a role in Slough. They are a well-established company that work with some of the largest names in the industry. Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced mobile heavy plant fitter who is able to work in a field base role and has flexibility to travel across the UK as and when required.

The role itself with involve working on, carrying out repairs and servicing heavy machinery within the construction & concrete industry.

Essential Skills / Experience:

Candidate must have an engineering background working on Construction Plant, Heavy Machinery, Agricultural Machinery or Recycling Equipment

Skilled plant fitter ideally with a minimum of three years in a similar role

Ideally a minimum of three year's experience within a mechanical engineering role

Confident in service and repair of heavy plant machinery

Ability to diagnose faults

Ideally have minimum two year's experience in electrical wiring

Must have experience in Fault Finding

Ideally apprentice trained or with relevant qualifications

Have the ability to work unsupervised

Candidate must hold a full driving License

Someone willing and able to work in a field based role

Ability and flexibility to travel across the UK

The candidate will ideally have an NVQ in Plant / HGV / Agriculture - not essential
