Established, globally regarded aerospace component and systems manufacturer - a subsidiary of the world’s largest operator in their sector, is seeking to recruit a proactive, commercially focused Engineering Manager to organise and coordinate Engineering and Laboratory team activities, ensuring that the functions meet the ongoing needs and development plans of the organisation.

This is a broad role with a varied list of duties and responsibilities encompassing overseeing the technical aspects of development projects, supporting business growth with technical expertise and customer lobbying, ensuring close collaboration European/US partners, supporting purchasing activities and working with customers at senior levels of contact to resolve product and supply issues.

The role requires a degree level Engineer with up-to-date knowledge of the aerospace sector. Additional you will be a competent people leader who is comfortable operating in a global business as well as capable of interacting with customers and suppliers at senior contact levels. Knowledge of manufacturing principles, health and safety initiatives and budget management/allocation are also prerequisites.
