Are you a mechanical engineer looking for an exciting opportunity? Join a dynamic organisation renowned for its expertise in wet stock management and mechanical services for hazardous areas! We are seeking a skilled and motivated Field Mechanical Engineer to become a vital part of our team. Industry experience isn't required and full training offered.

Location: M4 - South West Working Hours: Average of 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, between 6 am and 6 pm

A clean UK driving licence is essential

Must be eligible to obtain SC, DV & DBS clearance for MOD and high-security sites.

This role requires potential over night stays in long distance areas.

What You'll Do:

  • Conduct OFTEC inspections, planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks, and remedial project works.
  • Work with fuel systems and associated control systems across both private and public sectors.
  • Ensure safety compliance and deliver high-quality service to our valued clients.

What We Are Looking For:

  • 3+ years of mechanical engineering experience, particularly in hazardous areas or fuel systems, or similar transferable skills.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Engineering Maintenance/Installation or equivalent.
  • Strong IT skills with the ability to complete online reports efficiently.
  • Excellent customer-facing and communication skills.
  • CompEx 11 Mechanical in Hazardous Areas certification is desirable.
  • Additional certifications such as OFTEC and confined space training are a plus!
  • A clean UK driving licence is essential.
  • Must be eligible to obtain SC, DV & DBS clearance for MOD and high-security sites.
