Our client, a leader in wet stock management with over 50 years of industry expertise, is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Field Mechanical Engineer to join their dynamic team in South England. Location: M4- South West Salary: Starting at £25,000, with a potential increase of up to £10k after successful training (within 1 year).Working Hours: Average 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, between 6 am and 6 pm.
Some over night stays required on long distance jobs.
A full UK Driving is essential.
Eligibility to obtain SC, DV & DBS clearance (required for MOD & high-security sites).
What You Will Be Trained To Do:
- Carry out OFTEC inspections, planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks, and remedial & project works.
- Work on fuel systems and associated control systems across private and public sectors.
- Ensure safety compliance and deliver high-quality service to clients.
What We Are Looking For:
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Engineering Maintenance/Installation or equivalent.
- Strong IT skills with the ability to complete online reports.
- Excellent customer-facing and communication skills.
- A clean UK driving licence (essential).
- Eligibility to obtain SC, DV & DBS clearance (required for MOD & high-security sites).
