Our client has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Asset Condition Inspector to join their team in Colnbrook. If you have a passion for working in an airport environment and are skilled in inspecting passenger boarding bridges and associated equipment, then this role is for you! As an Asset Condition Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and smooth operations of our clients' equipment at various airports in the UK, Ireland, and overseas.Job Overview:Conduct thorough mechanical, electrical, and functional checks on passenger boarding bridges and related equipment.Prepare detailed reports highlighting any adjustments, replacements, or maintenance required.Collaborate with engineers to implement modifications to improve equipment performance.Record all inspection findings accurately and maintain meticulous documentation.Requirements:Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Positive and proactive attitude with the ability to work well as part of a team.Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical drawings.Proficient in using hand and power tools.Ability to follow instructions and work with precision.Desired Skills:Hold a Full UK Driving Licence.Right to work in the UK is essential.Minimum of 5 years' traceable work/education history to obtain airside security passes.Prior experience in inspecting mechanical equipment or industrial machines/vehicles.Company Benefits:Training and development opportunities to enhance your skills.Pension scheme with contribution matching.Personal locker to keep your belongings secure.Company-provided phone and laptop for seamless communication.This is a permanent, full-time position with night shift hours from Sunday to Thursday (20:30 to 04:30).
