Are you ready for an incredible opportunity to showcase your exceptional organisational skills and professional prowess? Look no further! Our client, is seeking a talented Personal Assistant/Executive Assistant to join their team on a Fixed Term Maternity Contract.

As the PA/EA, you will have the unique privilege of supporting and assisting the MD. The role is set to begin ASAP and will continue for a period of 6 months. This is truly an exciting chance to immerse yourself in the dynamic world of engineering while enhancing your existing administrative skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Acting as a first point of contact: dealing with correspondence and phone calls.
  • Managing diaries and organising meetings and appointments, often controlling access to the manager/executive.
  • Booking and arranging travel, transport, and accommodation.
  • Organising events and conferences.
  • Reminding the manager/executive of important tasks and deadlines.
  • Typing, compiling, and preparing reports, presentations, and correspondence.
  • Managing databases and filing systems.
  • Implementing and maintaining procedures/administrative systems.
  • Liaising with staff, suppliers, and clients.
  • Collating and filing expenses.
  • Ad Hoc tasks to support their manager, e.g., completing some corporate governance reporting (to ensure that the business is being run properly and complying with legislation and regulations) or conducting research.
  • Attending SLT and adhoc Meetings every Friday off site and as and when required.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a PA/EA or in a similar administrative role.
  • Outstanding organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong social media skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and other relevant software.
  • A high level of discretion and integrity in handling confidential information.
  • A valid driver's licence and willingness to travel as needed.
  • Car driver
