About the Role:
We are currently seeking a Mobile Electrical Engineer to join a leading facilities management team, specialising in retail environments. Based in the Slough area, you will be responsible for providing electrical maintenance and support across multiple retail sites. As part of our growing team, you will ensure the continued safety and efficiency of electrical systems within these busy retail locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct electrical maintenance, inspections, and repairs across retail stores.
  • Perform electrical fault diagnosis and troubleshooting, resolving issues with lighting, power systems, and other electrical infrastructure.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical regulations, health, and safety standards on all retail sites.
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance tasks.
  • Ensure the safe operation of electrical systems and equipment in the retail environment.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work completed.
  • Manage and troubleshoot electrical systems, including emergency lighting, power supplies, and HVAC systems.
  • Use a company van to travel between retail sites (vehicle is for work use only).

Requirements:

  • Fully qualified Electrician (City & Guilds 2360, 2330, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
  • Experience in electrical maintenance, ideally within the retail or commercial sector.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, and HVAC systems.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a diverse workload across multiple sites.
  • Full UK driving license (company van provided for work use only).
  • Excellent communication skills and customer-focused approach.
  • A proactive attitude towards health & safety and adherence to regulations.
