Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mobile HGV Technician to join our team, covering Slough and South London. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work independently, providing on-site servicing, maintenance, and repairs for a variety of heavy goods vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on HGVs to ensure roadworthiness.
- Diagnose faults and carry out inspections using diagnostic equipment.
- Perform emergency roadside repairs as required.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of all work completed.
- Liaise with fleet managers and customers to provide efficient service.
- Keep company vehicle and equipment in good working condition.
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
- Previous experience as an HGV Technician or similar role.
- Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently.
- Full UK driving licence (HGV licence desirable but not essential).
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Competitive salary with overtime available (OTE 50k+).
