Freight forwarder (exports) required for a freight forwarding company in the Heathrow area, they cover Air, Road and Sea. Salary is 30-35k + you get your birthday off each year and free parking. This is an established freight forwarding company, that has been trading for many years and is known within the freight forwarding market.Monday to Friday 09:00-17:30
The role
We are looking for a freight forwarder with export experience, you will work on air, road and sea freight. You willHandling of enquires, discussing requirements & working on Air, Road & Sea freight quotes.Liaising with Air, Sea and Road carriers regarding routes, schedules, and rates.Booking cargo space with air, sea, and road carriers/couriers.Preparing all shipping documentation to meet carriage requirements.Building freight jobs in the freight system.Processing customs declarations using Descartes. You will also offerDaily communication with customers, suppliers, third parties, subcontractors, networkoffices and crew regarding the details of the movements.
Experience
We are looking for a candidate with a strong export knowledge within freight forwarding. You will also haveExperience within a cargo department,Experience within generating cargo quotations for Air, Road and Sea. you will have aHigh level of attention to detail. You will also haveKnowledge of CDS/ CHIEF, CCS UK
