Are you an experienced Accounts person who also has experience managing and running a small payroll?Are you seeking part time work only and can commit to a year’s temp work.

My client a successful SME business now require and Accounts Super star to cover for a period of maternity. The booking will commence in early February and runs until March 2026.

Ideal working hours are Monday to Friday- 9.30-2.30pm but there is slight flexibility on this.Due to the location of the company the successful candidate MUST be a car driver.

Duties

  • PL and AR
  • Setting up new supplier accounts onto Sage 50
  • Responsible for supplier payment run
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Preparing monthly payroll for staff on Sage payroll- approx. 38 staff
  • Credit checking customer
  • Running VAT return
  • Uploading pension details to HMRC
  • Manual timesheet calculations
  • Debtors- weekly debt chasing

Experience needed

  • Experience in accounts
  • Sage 50 experience essential
  • Payroll preparation and payroll run experience
  • High attention to detail
  • Happy to work for a small but busy business
  • Hands on in approach
  • Good sense of humour and highly personable
