Are you a Compliance Engineer, Laboratory Manager or similar looking to bring your expert knowledge of electronics certifications to a close knit, international and pioneering Research & Development team revolutionising electrical safety across the world?

This company specialise in solutions for areas of the world where unstable power is common. Established over 40 years ago, they are well known for improving reliability and producing products that keep electronics safe in the case of power surges. Over the years they have diversified their range to include IoT devises and temperature sensors.

In this role you will be responsible for certifying electrical and electronic products for local and international markets. You will be working within a close knit R+D department, working with independent test and certification establishments to advise the team on best practices. This will include UKCA, IEC, EN, UL, EMC, LVD, FCC, RED and CE standards - training will be given.

This role would suit a Compliance Engineer, Laboratory Manager or similar with knowledge of the certification process of electrical/electronic devises, who is looking for a senior role within a busy R&D department.The Role:

  • Ensuring work is compliant with local and global standards and certifications
  • Liaising with external bodies to ensure standards are met
  • Working within a busy Research and Development department
  • Monday to Friday, 9am - 5:30pm

The Person:

  • Compliance Engineer, Laboratory Manager or similar
  • Electronics/Electrical device background
  • Knowledge of some international standards (CE, UKCA, IEC, EN, FCC or RED)
