Year 3 Class Teacher - Primary School

We are seeking a Year 3 Class Teacher to start working in a fantastic school! There is a wonderful Primary School located in Slough that is very keen to have a Year 3 Class Teacher for the start as soon as possible. This is a full time position working 5 days and week and to be successful for this role you must be a qualified teacher and have previous teaching experience ideally.

The Role:

  • The role is for a full time Year 3 Class Teacher.
  • You will be required to demonstrate good knowledge of the Key Stage 1 National Curriculum, previous experience of working in KS1 is desirable but not essential.
  • To mark and assess pupils' work, and to record their development, progress and attainment, both at school and elsewhere, having regard to the requirements of the national curriculum
  • Maintain good order, discipline and respect for others among pupils; to promote understanding of the school's rules and values; to safeguard health and safety; and to develop relationships with and between pupils conducive to optimum learning
  • Plan and prepare lessons to engage the children with their learning

Requirements:

  • You must have Qualified Teacher Status
  • Experience teaching in KS1 is desirable but not essential
  • Be an excellent communicator and have great behaviour management
  • Have a 'child workforce only' DBS on the Update Service or willing to obtain one
  • Be available to start ASAP!
