Key Responsibilities as a Primary Teaching Assistant:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to Year 4 students in areas of need.
- Run engaging and effective interventions to improve spelling, times tables, and speech and language skills.
- Work closely with the class teacher to track student progress and implement personalized learning strategies.
- Create a positive, encouraging environment where every child feels confident to learn and grow.
The Ideal Primary Teaching Assistant Will:
- Have experience working with primary-aged children (ideally in a teaching assistant role).
- Possess a strong understanding of literacy, numeracy, and language development.
- Be patient, empathetic, and passionate about supporting children's academic and personal growth.
- Have a proactive attitude and be able to adapt quickly to the needs of individual children.
