My client who are in the Aerospace Industry are looking for a Process Engineer based out of their site in Slough.
This is a temp to perm role paying up to £35,000 + pension + holiday + healthcare.
However would also consider contract.
The Process Engineer is responsible for:
• Undertake contract reviews.
• Develop techniques and routings for new products.
• Compile and/or amend process routings if required.
• Read and interpret Job cards/techniques and diagrams to select, position and peen products according to the relevant Specification.
• Ability to follow and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment.
• Rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
• Work on your own initiative, with support from QA
• Work with our remote technical sheet engineer to ensure all processes and procedures are correct.
• Support to develop process parameters for machine set ups
• Coordinate technical documentation development.
• Communicate with team members and support teams to ensure continuous production of the correct product at high quality levels with minimal wasted time and materials
