Job Title: Electrical Fitter                    

Location: Colnbrook             

Job type: 3month contract, Temp to Permanent

Rate: Up to £15.20 per hour PAYE

Hours: Monday- Thursday 08:30-17:00, Friday 07:45-16:00

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Fitter to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the assembly and testing of electrical systems. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, technical drawings, and safe working practices in a manufacturing environment.

Electrical Fitter Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Wire electrical systems, panels, and components on machinery and equipment.
• Assemble electrical components to meet production specifications and safety standards.
• Conduct functional and continuity tests on electrical systems using test equipment
• Troubleshoot and diagnose faults in electrical systems, performing repairs or adjustments as needed.
• Document work performed, test results, and materials used in accordance with company procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

The Electrical Fitter should have the following skills and experience:

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation, Engineering, or a related field.
• Skilled in panel wiring.
• Proven experience as an Electrical Fitter in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Strong knowledge of electrical principles and safe working practices.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Experience with electrical testing equipment.
