Educational Psychologist

Position Start:September
Working Hours:This is a term time only role (39 weeks to include INSET/Twilights)
Monday to Thursday: 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
Friday: 8:00 am - 3:30 pm

Salary:NJC Level 8 starting point 36 FTE £45,468

An Ofsted Outstanding school client of ours is seeking a passionate and dedicated Educational Psychologistto join the team this September.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the SENDCo to lead EHCPs
  • Provide training for staff on wellbeing and behaviour.
  • Keep the SLT up to date with any legislative changes.
  • Providing vital psychological advice in line with SEND guidance.
  • Carry out one-to-one assessments and feedback with recommendations for future support and referrals.
  • Provide support to parents, teachers and other professionals within children's education.
  • Promote psychological well-being, social, emotional, and behavioural development among our students through interventions.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience in a similar role.
  • Experience managing workloads and meeting deadlines.
  • Knowledge of SEND legislation and guidance.
  • Evidence of CPD in relation to working in an educational environment.
  • Knowledge of current issues in education.
