Working as a key part of the purchasing team, you will support the Category Manager in sourcing and procuring products and services that meet quality specifications at the best possible price-helping to drive profitability and business success.

What will you be doing?

  • Negotiating with suppliers to build strong, long-term relationships, managing SLAs, product reviews, and price adjustments.
  • Sourcing, selecting, and benchmarking products and suppliers while carrying out due diligence.
  • Ensuring all materials are purchased on time, within specification, and at the best value.
  • Identifying new and alternative sources of supply and making strategic recommendations.
  • Maintaining key supplier information, including contracts, pricing, and product details.
  • Researching market trends and identifying potential new products and suppliers.
  • Handling pricing and invoice queries efficiently and ensuring timely reporting.
  • Managing product data sheets and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Working closely with planning and production teams for accurate forecasting.
  • Collaborating with internal teams and overseas factories to ensure smooth operations.
