My client is a knockout Construction Main Contractor, a business in hyper growth mode! They specialise in high profile Industrial & Logistics projects, Mixed Use schemes and Retail Parks. Having just secured a £6m new build Distribution Centre project near Brighton we have been asked to supply a Quantity Surveyor to help drive the commercial management on site.



Quantity Surveyor Responsibilities:



  • Producing Subcontract documentation including negotiation of terms and conditions, prices, and programme.
  • Management of subcontract works packages including, interim assessments of the amount due and subsequent change management.
  • Producing detailed monthly reports and Cost Value Reconciliations (CVR) as required by the business unit or project.
  • Produce and maintain a detailed Cost Plan, tracking and forecasting expenditure, including detailed schedules of Subcontractor liabilities
  • Agreeing and settling Final Accounts on project.


Required Skills & Experience List the Skills, Experience & qualifications required (Examples below)



  • Minimum 4 years post qualified experience.
  • Main Contractor project experience.
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar.
  • Exposure on (large single or multiple smaller schemes).
  • Distribution Centre experience (Large Industrial Units) desirable.
