About the Role: As a Receptionist, you’ll be the first point of contact for visitors and clients, ensuring a professional and friendly front-of-house experience. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, has great attention to detail, and thrives in a busy environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing the reception area, providing a warm and professional welcome to all visitors.
  • Handling day-to-day front-of-house duties and customer liaison.
  • Answering the switchboard and logging information into the database.
  • Operating office equipment, including phones, computers, and photocopiers.
  • Ordering office supplies and maintaining stock levels.
  • Communicating effectively with clients, suppliers, and colleagues.
  • Preparing meeting and conference rooms and managing diaries.
  • Responding to queries via phone and email in a professional manner.
  • Assisting with maintenance coordination and Health & Safety procedures.
  • Keeping the reception and common areas clean, tidy, and well-presented.
  • Getting involved in marketing and event coordination as needed.

About You: We’re looking for an organised and proactive individual with the following qualities:

  • A positive, people-orientated attitude with excellent customer service skills.
  • A proactive and hands-on approach to tasks and problem-solving.
  • Previous experience in a customer-focused role (hospitality, retail, or office-based reception).
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • The ability to multitask and take ownership of responsibilities.
