In this role you will be responsible for certifying this OEM's electrical and electronic products for local and international markets. You will be working within a close knit R+D department, working with independent test and certification establishments to advise the team on best practices. This will include UKCA, IEC, EN, UL, EMC, LVD, FCC, RED and CE standards - training will be given.This company specialise in power protection and solar energy solutions, offering innovative products to safeguard electronics and enhance energy efficiency. Their range includes voltage stabilisers, inverters, and solar systems, aimed at improving reliability in challenging environments.This role would suit a Lab Manager, Engineer or similar from an Electronics/Electrical background and knowledge of international standards looking for a senior position as a technical expert within a busy research and development department.The Role:

  • Ensuring work is compliant with local and global standards and certifications
  • Liaising with external bodies to ensure standards are met
  • Working within a busy Research and Development department
  • Monday to Friday, 9am - 5:30pm

The Person:

  • Lab Manager, Quality / Electronics Engineer or similar
  • Electronics Background
  • Knowledge of some international standards (CE, UKCA, IEC, EN, FCC or RED)
