About the Job:

The Finance Assistant will play a pivotal role in supporting the financial operations. This includes managing payment processes, handling expenses, performing reconciliations, and assisting with financial aspects of various school activities. The role requires maintaining accuracy and efficiency in financial transactions and providing support to staff on financial matters.

Duties will include:

  • Processing orders, invoices, cheques, income, payroll, and expenses promptly
  • Reconciling invoices against purchase orders, statements, and payments
  • Managing credit card transactions and invoices
  • Assisting staff with financial queries and best value practices
  • Providing training on finance administrative tasks
  • Supporting monthly management accounts by ensuring timely invoice processing
  • Posting journal entries for internal charges and expenditures
  • Banking cash income as needed
  • Offering financial support to the catering provision
  • Ad-hoc duties
