English Teacher - Slough
Tradewind recruitment are working a secondary school based in Slough who are currently looking for an English Teacher.
School are looking for someone to start from January 2025 on a long term contract until July 2025 with the possibility of extending the contract onto next academic year.
This position is full time, working Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 4:00pm.
Salary will match London fringe MPS/UPS.
Ideal English Teacher will be:
- Deeply committed to teaching English to secondary students and eager to actively engage in the school community.
- Skilled at setting and upholding high standards of student behaviour to foster a focused and productive classroom atmosphere.
- Creative and inspiring, with well-developed routines and strategies that align with the school's core values.
- Proven ability to create a safe, supportive, and nurturing learning environment for all students.

Qualifications and Person Specification:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- A relevant degree
- Excellent subject knowledge with the ability to inspire and motivate students
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
