As a Second in Department - English Teacher, you should:
- Be an outstanding teacher with a passion for English and literature
- Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have recent teaching experience
- Have the ability to inspire students across all key stages
- Be able to support the Head of Department in the development of the department
- Possess leadership skills with the ability to manage staff
- Be committed to high standards of teaching, assessment, and student achievement
- Contribute to the extracurricular activities and initiatives of the English Department
- Have a collaborative, flexible, and positive approach
