We are inviting a passionate and dedicated Geography Teacher to join our vibrant secondary school in Slough on a temporary basis starting in December 2024. This role is perfect for an educator who is eager to inspire and educate students in a supportive and dynamic environment.
Day to Day of the role:- Deliver engaging and effective Geography lessons to students aged 11-16.
- Plan and prepare lessons in line with the national curriculum and school policies.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to encourage development.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that supports learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the school’s educational strategies.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience teaching Geography at the secondary school level.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Geography.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage students and work with staff.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to cater to diverse learning needs and styles.
