- Bachelor’s degree in History or a related field.
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
- Proven experience teaching History at KS3 and KS4 level.
- Strong knowledge of historical events, theories, and methodologies.
- Proficiency in creating and delivering engaging lesson plans.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage, motivate, and inspire students from diverse backgrounds.
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
As a History Teacher, your responsibilities will include:
- Creating engaging, curriculum-aligned lesson plans.
- Using innovative teaching methods and resources to enhance student learning.
- Assessing student progress through tests, assignments, and classroom discussions.
- Providing constructive feedback to support students' academic growth.
- Collaborating with colleagues to develop a dynamic and comprehensive curriculum.
- Attending faculty meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and other school events.
- Maintaining accurate records of student performance and progress.
