Maths Teacher
Tradewind recruitment are working with an outstanding secondary school based in Slough who are currently looking for a Maths Teacher.
School are looking for someone to start from January 2025 on a long term contract until July 2025. School are willing to offer a permanent contract for the right person.
This position is full time but school are open to part time applicants, Working hours are from 8:30am to 4:00pm.
Salary will match London Fringe MPS/UPS.
School has available parking spaces.
Maths Teacher :
- Offer strong teacher subject and pedagogical knowledge.
- Engage in helping students develop numerical literacy and resilience
- Enable life-long skill development and logical thinking
- Play a key role in fostering a positive and safe environment, while challenging students to reach their full potential.
- Embrace and support the ethos of both boarding and day school life.
The mathematics department vision is to develop students work ethic, mathematical reasoning, problem solving and resilience in order to support all students to be equipped for their next steps and life after school.
Qualifications and Person Specification:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- A relevant degree
- Excellent subject knowledge with the ability to inspire and motivate students
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Approachable and encouraging
