Are you passionate about inspiring the next generation to lead healthy, active lifestyles? We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced PE Lead Teacher to join a primary school in Slough. You will play a pivotal role in promoting physical activity and sports, helping our pupils develop essential life skills through a vibrant PE curriculum.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and deliver high-quality Physical Education lessons across all year groups.
  • Plan and coordinate engaging sports activities and events, fostering a love for fitness and teamwork.
  • Manage and coach extracurricular sports clubs and inter-school competitions.
  • Monitor pupil progress and implement strategies to support their physical development.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to integrate health and wellbeing initiatives into the wider curriculum.
  • Drive the school minibus to transport pupils to sports events and activities.


Requirements:

  • A specialism or passion for Physical Education.
  • Proven experience teaching PE at the primary level.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A commitment to promoting an inclusive and active learning environment.
  • A valid UK driver's licence (essential) to drive the school minibus for sports fixtures and events.


Desirable:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) desirable but not essential
  • Experience in leading or coordinating school-wide sports initiatives.
  • First aid qualification.
  • Minibus driver training or willingness to undertake training.
