Science Tutor

- Job Type: Part-time (9am-12:30pm)
We are seeking a dedicated Science Tutor to join our educational team, focusing on students who are school refusers or those struggling academically. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for education and a desire to make a significant impact on students' learning experiences.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Provide tailored Science lessons to meet the individual needs of each student.
- Engage students who are reluctant learners by using creative and interactive teaching methods.
- Assess students' progress regularly and adapt teaching methods to suit their needs.
- Work closely with other educational staff to plan and coordinate efforts to maximize student engagement and learning.
- Offer support and encouragement to help students build confidence in their abilities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching Science, particularly to students who find traditional educational settings challenging.
- Strong understanding of the ways to engage students with different learning needs.
- Excellent communication and motivational skills.
- Ability to plan and execute effective teaching strategies.
