Are you an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant looking for an exciting full-time opportunity in Slough?

We are seeking enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistants to join a dedicated team in providing outstanding support and Education and Training to primary school pupils. If you have experience in the UK curriculum and a passion for making a difference in the classroom, we want to hear from you!

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Leading small group sessions and interventions to boost pupil progress
  • Assisting in the planning and delivery of engaging and creative lessons across the primary curriculum
  • Covering classes in the absence of the teacher, ensuring continuity of learning
  • Supporting pupils with additional needs to ensure they are fully included in the classroom
  • Working closely with teachers and the wider school team to monitor pupil progress and provide tailored support
  • Contributing to the development of lesson plans and resources
  • Helping to create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment for all pupils

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as an HLTA in UK primary schools is essential.
  • HLTA status or an equivalent qualification is required
  • A strong understanding of the primary curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A positive attitude and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
  • A passion for supporting children's learning and development
  • The ability to manage and motivate pupils in a classroom environment
