Currently working with an excellent client, based in London who are looking for an experienced Ocean Freight Import/Export professional to join their busy tea. You will manage and arrange the export transportation cycle for Ocean freight, ensuring all paperwork is complete and legal.

Your responsibilities as Freight Administratorwill be:

  • Obtain charges and cargo release details from agents and shipping lines
  • Submit customs clearances/entries
  • Ensure any payments due are made in advance
  • Process all payments and raise necessary paperwork
  • Arrange the release and transportation of goods received

What you need to bring as Freight Administrator:

  • At least 5 years Ocean/Sea Export Freight Experience is essential
  • Experience with negotiating terms and rates
  • Be familiar with industry standard computer programs such as Cargowise
  • Good communication skills
  • Organisation and planning skills
  • Good Geographical knowledge
